Cape Cruz, Cuba

Cape Cruz is known in Cuba for its strong commercial fishing industry. Due to such, the city made the decision to build a tall lighthouse in 1871. This lighthouse is called the Vargas lighthouse, and it remains a popular attraction at the cape even to this day; it accepts visits from tourists around the globe. At the peak, one can get an excellent view of Desembarco del Granma National Park. Other attractions include the pearly white beaches and the long barrier reef. Any marine enthusiast will love to go exploring and diving to view all of the water wildlife that this beautiful area of Cuba has to offer.
